Honda has leaked images and possible official specifications on the upcoming 2012 Honda CR-V. While its outer shell remains similar to CR-V's previous generation, there are still many great things coming from a refresh. The vehicle popped up at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, Calif.
This version of the foreign SUV is set to hit Walser Honda, located at in 14800 Buck Hill Road in Burnsville, MN by the end of the year. Just because there isn't much changing with next year's variant, that doesn't mean this it will lack any of the greatness previous models had. CR-V has remained popular and a well-selling vehicle since its introduction in 1997. Besides - if it's not broke, why fix it?
"The 2012 CR-V concept strongly hints at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model," said John Mendel, executive sales VP for American Honda.1
The new SUV will include an even more fuel-efficient engine than installed in previous editions, and be lower in weight. Inside, CR-V will become more spacious.
Though similar to the 2011 model, CR-V does have a more aggressive look coming to drivers next year. We can't wait to see what high miles per gallon the car receives. After all, Kelley Blue Book can't stop raving about this Honda model, so there must be a reason.
