When searching for a quality pickup truck in the Bloomington and Minneapolis, MN area you need a ride that will get you through the work day, and then some! Luckily, GM trucks like the new GMC Sierra were recently given a nod as having best in class towing and payload ratings.
GMC trucks have the highest numbers in each category. An all new Sierra pulls 23,000 pounds of when trailering a fifth wheel and pulls 18,000 pounds when hauling a conventional trailer. When "properly equipped" an extra 7,215 pounds of payload capacity can be added to the Sierra HD.
GMC Sierra numbers smother those of the competition from other American truck producers.
"GMC's latest statistics with revised ratings of their own, after a few small tweaks allow them to earn back their place atop the HD standings," says Auto Blog.1
