You know the Honda CR-V, right? One of the best selling crossover vehicles at Walser Honda, located at 14800 Buck Hill Road in Burnsville, MN 55306, as well as one of the longer running Honda cars. Well, in Europe, fans are getting a look at the upgraded CR-V prior to its launch at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
This five-door model will come to the United States (most likely) in the summer, with European sales beginning sometime during the fall of 2012.
This fourth generation of CR-V models, recently the star of Matthew Broderick's Super Bowl ad spoof on Ferris Bueller's Day Off, will display a new body design. It is more aerodynamic than previous incarnations, with extra features such as a infotainment screen mounted to the dash, and more air bags and warning systems, adding to Honda's successful safety campaign.
"Compared to the previous generation, this Prototype adopts a more aggressive stance with deeper sculpting of the body lines and a bolder front fascia. The lower front bumper wraps smartly upward to convey SUV capability, while the lower front bumper design now integrates more smoothly into the fascia for improved aerodynamics," according to Honda's press release.1
Leaked images can now be found all over the web - but stay tuned because more information will be coming from the Japanese auto maker once CR-V hits showroom floors in Geneva this March!
