The following features are available on every 2020 Nissan Sentra.
AEB operates above 3 mph by using a radar sensor located on the front of the Sentra to measure the distance of the vehicle or pedestrian. If a vehicle or pedestrian is detected the system provides a visual and audible warning. If the driver does not correct the alert the system provides another visual and audible warning while applying partial braking. The system will apply pressure on the brake as much as needed down to a complete stop to avoid the collision.
This system goes above and beyond the rear-view camera. If the sensor detects a possible collision it provides a visual alert, if not corrected a red outline is added to the rear-view camera screen with an additional audible alert. If brakes are not applied the system will automatically apply them to avoid a collision.
Do you sometimes cringe when backing out of a parking spot because that huge Nissan Titan is blocking your view? The Rear Cross Traffic alert is here to help! It alerts the driver with visual and audible warnings when a side approaching vehicle is detected when in reverse.
The Blind Spot Warning uses sensors located near the rear bumper to alert you if a vehicle is in your blind spot. The alert is located near the side view mirrors and if the blinker is turned on the system will alert you with an audible alert. This system is activated at speeds greater than 20 miles-per-hour.
The camera unit is located at the top of the windshield. When the camera detects the vehicle is approaching the left or right side of the lane, a blinking lane departure light is activated along with an intermittent steering vibration. This system is activated at speeds greater than 37 miles-per-hour when the lane markings are clear.
The High Beam Assist will automatically switch the high beams to low beams when an oncoming vehicle is detected. The system will also turn the high beams back on when needed.

Sick of digging in your purse or pocket while your hands are full to hit the unlock button on your remote? Welcome to Intelligent key and locking functions on the 2020 Nissan Sentra. With the key fob in your pocket or purse hit the small button on your door handle and this will lock or unlock the vehicle. Hit the button again within a minute and it will unlock the remaining doors.
Feeling a little spunky today or is it just another commute, Nissan offers three driving modes you can select from based on your mood. Sport for those spunky days with enhanced performance or Eco for your daily commute and maximizing your fuel economy.
This system helps detect driver fatigue and decreased attentiveness when the vehicle is traveling above 37 MPH for a period of time. It encourages the driver to take a rest by displaying “take a break” in the vehicle information display.
Intelligent Cruise Control maintains a set distance between you and the vehicle in front of you when cruise control is activated. When a vehicle is detected the vehicle slows down until the road is cleared allowing the vehicle to resume to the set speed.
While Minnesota winters can be hard, the Vehicle Dynamic Control helps you keep control of your vehicle. Even a small amount of snow on the road can cause one or all of your wheels to lose traction. This system applies the brakes to the wheels that have lost traction and match the speeds of the other wheels to stabilize acceleration and allow all the wheels to continue to work together.
