Four Wheeler Magazine Names 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon 'Pickup Truck of the Year'

Four Wheeler, the country's oldest and most respected four-wheel drive enthusiast magazine, has named the 2012 Ram 2500 Power Wagon its choice for "Pickup Truck of the Year." The magazine has a paid circulation of 200,000 members each month and a readership of more than 2.2 million, including its corresponding e-zine. The Ram pickup was tested in various on- and off-road tests against several other brands.

Four Wheeler had numerous reasons for choosing the 2012 Ram. As John Cappa, Editor of the magazine, explains, "You can't beat the versatility of the 2012 Ram Power Wagon. Its aggressive BFG All-Terrain tires, tuned suspension, disconnecting sway bar, selectable lockers front and rear, and a Warn winch make it nearly unstoppable off-road, yet it's still civilized enough to be daily-driven. The Power Wagon crawls over the most difficult rocky terrain just as easily as it speeds over rough dirt roads or commutes on smooth highways. Add in a 10,200-pound towing capacity along with multiple useful storage compartments, including the RamBox, and you end up with a remarkable factory-built 3/4-ton truck that easily deserves Four Wheeler's 2012 Pickup Truck of the Year award."1 The Ram 2500 Power Wagon is an off-road driver's dream; it comes equipped with Bilstein tuned shocks, 33-inch BG Foodrich off-road tires, underbody skid plate protection, electric-locking front and rear differentials, an electronic disconnecting sway bar, and a custom-built Warn 12,000- lb. winch that is reachable through the front bumper.

The 2012 Power Wagon is available for purchase in three trim models: St, SLT, and Laramie. For more information about this vehicle or to schedule a test drive, Contact Walser ,or stop by and visit us at 4401American Blvd. West in Bloomington, MN 55437.
