Chevrolet has reimagined the Silverado’s design to embrace its electric nature fully. The truck features a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette that improves efficiency and gives it a modern, futuristic look. The front fascia is distinctive, with an illuminated bowtie emblem and a bold grille that hints at its electric capabilities.
The 2024 Silverado EV RST isn’t just about going green—it’s about delivering power and performance that rivals, and even surpasses, its gas-powered counterparts. Equipped with a dual-motor setup, the RST trim generates up to an astounding 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode. This incredible power propels the truck from 0 to 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds, a feat that’s practically unheard of in the world of pickups.
The Silverado EV RST also boasts a driving range of up to 400 miles on a full charge, thanks to its Ultium battery pack. This range makes it one of the most practical EV trucks on the market, capable of handling long hauls without frequent recharging stops.
Inside, the Silverado EV RST is packed with advanced technology. The centerpiece is a massive 17-inch infotainment display, complemented by an 11-inch digital instrument cluster. This dual-screen setup provides drivers with all the information they need, from navigation to real-time battery stats, all at their fingertips. The RST trim also includes Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free driver assistance technology, allowing for a more relaxed driving experience on compatible roads.
The 2024 Silverado EV RST isn’t just a showpiece—it’s a workhorse. With a towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,300 pounds, this truck is built to handle tough jobs. The Multi-Flex Midgate and Multi-Flex Tailgate further enhance its versatility, allowing for various cargo configurations to accommodate different loads.
The Silverado EV also includes a front trunk, or “frunk,” which provides additional storage space—a bonus that comes from not having a traditional engine under the hood.
