The Burnsville Festival & Fire Muster is back September 4-6, 2025, and it’s bigger than ever. Over three days, this beloved tradition brings the community together with something for everyone. Carnival rides and midway games light up the nights, live music gets families dancing, and Saturday morning begins with the Heart of the City Race, brimming with hometown spirit. The Fire Truck & Community Parade fills the streets with sirens, candy, and cheers, while classic cars stand proudly on display and kids run wild through inflatables, face painting, and family fun. As the sun sets, the sky comes alive with fireworks you won’t forget.

Your Guide to the Fire Muster Weekend

It all begins Thursday night when Burnsville turns into a hometown block party filled with neighbors, families, and friends catching up. Families wander between food trucks, kids discover new favorite treats, and live music fills the streets. Parents can sample craft beer while kids dance to the tunes, and the whole evening wraps itself in that small-town magic you can’t quite put into words.

Friday Night Lights (and Rides)

On Friday, the Fire Muster kicks into gear. Carnival rides spin under the lights, kids cheer with every win at the midway games, and the bingo tent fills with laughter and lucky numbers. As the night goes on, the Johnny Holm Band takes the stage, keeping the crowd singing and dancing together. There’s a beer garden for parents, a Ferris wheel for kids, and that unmistakable buzz of a community weekend in full swing.

Parades, Classic Cars, and Fireworks—Oh My!

Saturday is the kind of day that makes Burnsville proud. The morning begins with runners in the Heart of the City race and a showcase of classic cars polished to perfection. Soon, the sirens and music of the Fire Truck & Community Parade fill the streets, with kids scrambling for candy and waving at their heroes. By afternoon, families are off to the Kidz Korner where inflatables, face painting, and kid-sized adventures take over. Live music keeps the energy high all day long, until the grand finale when fireworks light up the night sky in a show that leaves everyone smiling.
